Blueberry Chia Jam

Blueberry Chia Jam

The perfect breakfast staple! Add this jam to your toast, scones or oatmeal.


  • 3 cups North Bay Produce Blueberries 
  • 4 TBS honey 
  • 2 TBS lemon juice 
  • 3 TBS chia seeds
  • 1 tsp grated ginger 


Step 1. 

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add blueberries, honey, lemon juice and ginger. Bring to a simmer, mashing blueberries with a potato masher or back of spoon to release juices. 

Step 2. 

Add chia seeds and stir into mixture to distribute well. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until the jam is the desired thickness. 

Step 3. 

Remove from heat and pour into heat resistant jars. Once cool, store in refrigerator for up to a week.
