Make this salad ahead of time. Assemble the dressing and lemon treated apples/dried fruit blend separately until ready to serve. Mix all together and fold in toasted walnuts.
Combine cream cheese, brown sugar, and cinnamon and blend until smooth. Fold in yogurt and vanilla and mix until combined.
In a large bowl, toss apples (sliced or chunked) with lemon juice. Mix in dried fruit and toss to combine. Add dressing to apples and stir to combine.
Before serving, mix in toasted walnuts. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
