Apple Salad with Cinnamon Caramel Dressing

This is a great salad to add to any fall family gathering!


  • 4 lbs apples (Honeycrisp, EverCrisp or a combination of red and green apples) cored and chunked
  • 1 - 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon 
  • 8 oz. container vanilla Greek yogurt 
  • 2 tsp vanilla 
  • 2 TBS lemon juice 
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted 
  • 3/4 cup North Bay Produce Dried Cherries 
  • 1/4 cup North Bay Produce Dried Blueberries


Step 1. 

Combine cream cheese, brown sugar, and cinnamon and blend until smooth.  Fold in yogurt and vanilla and mix until combined.

Step 2. 

In a large bowl, toss apples (sliced or chunked) with lemon juice. Mix in dried fruit and toss to combine. Add dressing to apples and stir to combine. 

Step 3. 

Before serving, mix in toasted walnuts. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Sharon's Hint

Make this salad ahead of time. Assemble the dressing and lemon treated apples/dried fruit blend separately until ready to serve. Mix all together and fold in toasted walnuts.
